from her practice and teaching of yoga, and her study of Alexander Technique
and other somatic disciplines, with her medical knowledge, and has developed
a series of Experiential Anatomy Workshops for Yoga Practitioners which she
offers nationally. She applies her somatic work with clients to increase
their kinesthetic awareness and improve the accuracy of their perception of
the structure and function of their bodies, which can then effectively address
and relieve symptoms and facilitate healing of various medical conditions
such as fibromyalgia, back or knee pain, arthritis, diabetes, carpal tunnel syndrome,
depression, anxiety, and cancer.
